The industry has become overrun with grossly unqualified influencers spewing nonsense for “likes” and ratings. There are countless amateur trainers who make it up as they go along, having no idea what they are doing to the detriment of clients.

There are even supposedly certified trainers out there on posts asking how to set up a basic program! The vast number of horribly uneducated, unskilled and ignorant trainers out there now is appalling. Don’t get me wrong, there are also thousands of excellent, high-level, extremely knowledgeable and skilled trainers out there! If you have one of these experts, feel lucky.

The problem lies in that even these amazing, experienced trainers are still just guessing and utilizing old, outdated trial and error methods to try to find what works for each client.

The ONLY way to truly know beyond a doubt what will work for you is by “asking” your DNA. I do just that!

I will interpret the results of your Genetic/DNA test, and we will discuss your goals in depth. For instance, your genome for “Body Composition Response to Strength Training” may be: “Enhanced”, “Normal”, or “Below Average” (most result as “Normal”).

Each has specific associated guidelines I will utilize to fully optimize your results. Keep in mind that not every genome marker may be what you want or expect, but they are the scientific facts for your body. The ole “It is what it IS”. We cannot change your DNA, but we will utilize our knowledge of what it factually is, to fully optimize your results.

Together we will discuss all elements of your training, interests and goals. We will discuss how many days a week you will be dedicating to training, whether you will be training at a gym, at home, or both, what equipment you have available, any sports or activities you enjoy participating in (or want to start), etc…

    I will address any physical limitations you may have to ensure your safety and optimal effectiveness.

    We will discuss what your short- and long-term goals are now, and yes, they can and will probably change periodically.

    I will create a very personalized program to get you where you want to be.

    I utilize a simple downloadable app that can be used on your smartphone &/or desktop.

    I will program your detailed workouts for you in the app itself. In person local training is also available on a limited basis.

    I will monitor your training, and we will discuss your progress constantly as we go along.

    I will make any necessary or desired changes, while still optimizing your unique genetic profile.

    Multiple times a week we will have simple text, a call, &/or video check-ins to make sure things are going well and that you are achieving the expected results.

The personal training program I will design for you will be periodized to maximize physical and metabolic training adaptations and maximize performance, while preventing overtraining syndrome. This will also fully take into account your previously discussed goals and interests.

For instance, if you want to run a marathon, it will be designed much differently than if you want to increase your performance at Pickleball.
